Shopware bug in 6.7.10.x: Product images disappearing in Safari and Firefox 🐞

After updating to Shopware 6.7.10.x, product images in the gallery may briefly appear and then disappear in certain cases. This mainly affects Firefox and Safari. Chrome and Opera do not appear to be affected in the same way.
